3. CHRONICLES OF EVENTS
- September 1985, "PC World China Monthly" was founded. The size of the magazine was small 16mo. The number of pages totaled 60.
- December 1990, "PC World China Monthly" was awarded the Third Prize of Excellent Scientific and Technical Journals in Electronic Professions in the year of 1989 - 1990.
- September 1991, "PC World China Monthly" was awarded the First Prize of Defense Scientific and Technical Journals.
- June 1992, "PC World China Monthly" was awarded the Second Prize of Excellent Scientific and Technical Journals in the Ministry of Electronics Industry in the year of 1991 - 1992.
- December 1992, "PC World China Monthly" was awarded the First Prize of National Excellent Scientific and Technical Journals.
- January 1994, "PC World China Monthly" was changed to side stitching mode and grew to total 120 pages.
- October 1994, "PC World China Monthly" was awarded the First Prize of Excellent Scientific and Technical Journals in the Ministry of Electronics Industry in the year of 1993 - 1994.
- January 1995, "PC World China Monthly" was changed from small 16mo to large 16mo and grew to total 160 pages.
- June 1996, "PC World China Monthly" was awarded the First Prize of National Defense Excellent Scientific and Technical Journals in the Eighth Five Year Plan period.
- September 1996, "PC World China Monthly" was awarded the First Prize of Excellent Scientific and Technical Journals in the Ministry of Electronics Industry in the year of 1995 - 1996.
- January 1997, "Network Space" block was newly opened up to meet the needs from readers.
- January 1998, "PC World China Monthly" is going to be renovated as "PC World China Weekly" , the most significant re-adjustment ever made since its foundation, to keep in pace with the rapid development of information technology and market. IV. GUIDELINES FOR ADVERTISING

※ The price list of advertising is applicable to all joint ventures with Chinese-foreign investment, enterprises with exclusive foreign investments, which have registered investments in Chinese mainland, and domestic enterprises. No overseas addresses and telephone numbers are allowed to appear on advertisements. This price list is also applicable to Hongkong and Taiwan firms with exclusive investment and joint ventures in mainland.

※ Customers are required to hand over for examination the following certificates in subscription for Advertising:
----
1. The industrial and commercial enterprises should produce copy of business license and official certificate.
____
2. Organizations and institutions should produce official certificate.
____
3. Advertising companies should produce their business license and copy of business license of agency customers.
----
※ The Contents of advertising should comply with "Advertising Law of People's Republic of China" and related regulations of State Industrial and Commercial Administration Authorities.
----
※ Payment requirement
----
The advertising outlays should be paid one week in advance before publishing. If the customer does not pay the advertising outlays within 20 days after publishing, this magazine has the right to stop publishing of their consecutive advertising.
----
※ Requirement on advertising texts
----
1. Advertising should subscribe for layout location 30 days in advance. Samplings of advertising should be submitted to the Advertising Department 25 days in advance. Four-color films should be submitted to the Advertising Department 14 days in advance. New texts of the consecutive advertising should be submitted on time otherwise the old one would be used.
____
2. Texts should be clearly written. Submitted color films or black-and-white films should be clear and distinct.
____
3. If the advertising is not submitted in terms of the contract or the subscribed layout location is asked to change, notice should be sent to the Advertising Department 30 days in advance, otherwise the advertising outlays should be paid as usual as specified in the contract.

4. All other items should be carried out strictly in terms of the contract.
